Pesticide, our latest Toy Battle System game is now available.

Pesticide is a turn based combat game for two or more players set in a world where mutant insects and other creepy crawlies are taking over gardens across the world. Pesticide gives players complete control over the creation of their pest. Players can create an existing pest found in their own backyard or one from their own imagination. The possibilities are endless. The object of the game is to kill or be killed, once two mutant pests meet in battle only the winner will walk away. The loser becomes dinner. Pesticide is a standalone game that can also be used as an expansion for any other Toy Battle System™ game.

Our next Toy Battle System game, Pesticide, will be buzzing, crawling, and slithering its way to you this December.

In the late 50’s, a scientist studying the effects of radiation on the survivors of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki discovered a new virus that could cause mutations in any living creature. He later discovered this virus was responsible for the sudden appearance of gargantuan monsters and comic book like heroes with strange abilities (see Giant Monster Rampage and Atomic Super Humans).

What the scientist didn’t know was that the virus was also causing an interesting mutation among normal pests in backyards across the world. A mutation that only seemed to present itself in species of animals commonly referred to as pests.

If you were to find one of these pests in your backyard you’d think you had found a mad scientist’s creation by the collection of body parts haphazardly protruding from the mutant’s body. Body parts you’d normally find on different species of animals.

Zoologists around the world have been fascinated with the discovery of these pests, trying to determine why the Mutator X virus allows them to eat other animals then add parts of those animals to their bodies. In their search for the answer scientists learned that infected pests displayed a level of aggression normally seen in rabid animals. It is believed the virus causes this behavior to drive the pests to eat. A fact the scientists learned the hard way leading to more than one captive pest growing a finger or two.
